HS 1st Year Admission 2023
Assam Higher Secondary Education Council is going to receive online applications from eligible students for admission into the 2-year Higher Secondary Courses under AHSEC. The online admission facility has been developed by AHSEC to promote the digitization of the process. Under this online process, students will be able to take admission into the 11th class in their desired school and college without visiting anywhere directly from their homes. Students can submit their admissions applications through the AHSEC's online admissions portal, which has the name DARPAN.

Through the portal DARPAN, which was created by the Assam Higher Secondary Education Council, students will be able to apply for admission to the AHSEC-affiliated schools of their choice in Assam.
HS 1st Year Admission Fee Details
According to the official announcement, the Assam government has waived the first-year admission fee for Assam's higher secondary schools, enabling all applicants to enrol for free at all government-approved institutions. All eligible students who wish to enrol in the first year of Assam High School may do so without paying any fees.
How to Complete HS 1st Year Admission Process?
Students who fulfil all the requirements for eligibility to enrol in the AHSEC HS first year may submit their online applications through the AHSEC website. Additionally, a video guide and some instructions for applying online are provided below. Students can use these to finish the admissions process.
- Scroll down, and check the Important Link section.
- Click on HS 1st Year Admission link.
- A portal will load, click on the Register a New Account link.
- On the next one, you need to choose the college, course type and other details you want.
- Upload scan copy of the photograph, marksheet and other necessary documents.
- After filling in and verifying all the details, you have to click on submit button.
- After submitting the application, keep the system-generated acknowledgement for future use.
- Check the portal regularly for updates
- You will be informed through the portal which institute (s) you have been selected for admission.
Required Documents to Complete Application
Before completing the online application, students must have the following listed documents on hand in JPG, JPEG, or PNG file format. Also, the size of the file should be a maximum of 1 MB.
1. Recent Passport Size Photograph
2. 10th Marksheet (Digital)
3. Caste Certificate (If Applicable)
4. Disability Certificate (If Applicable)
5. TGL or Ex-TGL Certificate (If Applicable)
6. Gap Certificate (If Applicable)
