'Orunodoi' or Arunodoi Scheme is another plan of Government of Assam to be launched on 2nd October 2020. 'Orunodoi' plan will give Financial Assistance of Rs. 830 every month through Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT) plan to around 17 Lakh Families in the state of Assam. Eligibility Criteria Assam Orunodoi Scheme 2022
To get this financial assistance the applicants have to fill up the following criteria
- Applicant should be a permanent resident of Assam.
- Applicant should be presently resident in Assam.
- Composite Household Income of the Applicant should be less than Rs. 2 Lakh per annum.
- The beneficiary (nominated female member) should have a bank account wherein the name in the bank records should match the scheme records. In case, the beneficiary does not possess a bank account then a bank account would be required to be opened prior to the date of approval of the application.
Under the scheme, priority shall be given to household with
- Widow/divorced/unmarried female/separated female
- Specially abled nominated female
- Specially abled household member
The following types of households will be excluded :
a) Households which do not have a female member.
b) Households which have any former or current MLA/ MP.
c) Households which have current members of PRI/ ULB.
d) Households which have any regular serving or retired Government employees.
e) Households which have any regular serving employees of Co-operative Societies.
f) Households which have any Doctors, Engineers, Lawyers, Chartered Accountant, Architects and Registered Government Contractors.
g) Households which have any income tax-payee.
h) Households which own more than 15 bighas of agricultural land.
i) Households which own four wheelers, mechanized boat and tractor.
j) Households which own refrigerator/washing machine or air-conditioner.
Selection Process of Orunodoi Scheme 2022 Beneficiary
The District Level Monitoring Committee may modalities for setting up the rundown of eligible beneficiaries stringently according to the Guidelines.
