Eligibility Criteria of NEC Merit Scholarship
Resident ship :- The grant is open just to an extremely durable inhabitant understudy of any of the North Eastern States.
When Selected, the grant will be accessible to astudent for the endorsed span of a course dependent upon satisfaction of restoration conditions, as indicated under Para 6 of these guidelines. Augmentation of grant past the recommended time of study won't be engaged.
Family Income: The scholarship shall be admissible to the students whose parent / guardian’s annual income from all sources shall not exceed Rs 8.0 lakh. The income certificate issued by the competent authority shall be furnished by the candidate
Course/s: Scholarship will be acceptable to understudies who get admission in Diploma, Degree, Post-graduate or enlistment in M.Phil. /Ph.D courses of any organization perceived by the Government. The award of grant for M.Phil and Ph.D would be after the enrollment of the students with the University. The Scholarship won't be accessible for entry level position or any pragmatic preparation.
Educational Qualification:
The student must fulfill the following eligibility criteria in the previous qualifying examination for consideration of scholarship:
Level of course: Diploma
Qualifying examination: HSLC/ HSSLC/ Secondary School Leaving/ Senior Secondary Leaving certificate examination from a recognised State/Central board with minimum 60% marks in aggregate.
Level of course: Degree
Qualifying examination: HSSLC/ Senior Secondary Leaving certificate examination from a recognised State/Central board with minimum 60% marks in aggregate.
Level of course: Post Graduate
Qualifying examination: Degree level examination in any discipline (BA/BSc/BE/B Tech/MBBS/LLB/BCA/BBA etc. of any recognized Institute/ University with minimum 60% marks in aggregate.
Level of course: M.Phil./Ph.D
Qualifying examination: PG degree from any recognized University with minimum 60% marks in aggregate.
