Assam VFA Admission 2022
The School of Veterinary Science & A.H. at Ghungoor, Silchar, Assam, has received official notification that admissions are open for the one-year VFA Training Course in Elementary Knowledge of Animal Husbandry & Veterinary Science for the Session 2022–23. Candidates who want to enrol in the VFA programme can submit their applications online by the deadline. Applications will only be accepted online using the department's online application site.

Eligibility Criteria of Assam VFA Admission
Candidate residency: Candidates must be Assam State permanent residents and must provide a scanned copy of their PRC with their online application.
Age Restrictions: As of January 1, 2022, a candidate cannot be younger than 18 years old or older than 30 years old.
Age Relaxation: The upper age limit may be lowered as follows:
OBC/MOBC number: 3 (three) years
Number of SC, ST(P), and ST(H) years: 05 (five)
Education Requirements: HSSLC (Science) with Biology as a Subject from a recognized University/Board is the minimum requirement for admission.
Application Fee of Assam VFA Admission
Candidates must pay the following sum in application fees online.
- ST/SC: Rs.150
- General/OBC: Rs.250
How to Apply for Assam VFA Admission
Starting on September 28, 2022, interested and eligible applicants may submit an online application through the official admissions site. They can follow the instructions listed below to apply online.

- Click on Online Application Form link .
- A new webpage will be opened.
- Next you have to register yourself .
- Enter all your personal and educational details as required .
- Upload your passport sized photograph and signature and other required documents.
- Pay the application fee as per your category and at the end click on submit button .
- Don't forget to take a print of submitted application form .
Documents to be Uploaded
The following documents must be uploaded by applicants when submitting their online application for admission to the VFA course. Therefore, before starting the application process, we strongly advise that all of you prepare the necessary documents.
1. Age Prof.
2. PRC (Permanent Resident Certificate).
3. HSLC (or equivalent) Mark sheet.
4. HSSLC (Science) Mark sheet.
5. Recent Passport Size Photograph.
6. Signature of the Candidate.
7. Caste Certificate/EWS Certificate.
8. DDO’s Certificate in case of serving Grade-IV employees of the Department.
