Qualifications in terms of education:
Before the deadline for receiving online application forms, candidates must have passed the Intermediate or Senior Secondary School Certificate (10+2) test from a recognised Board or University, or an equivalent.
Age Restrictions:
As of the deadline for online applications, candidates' ages must fall between 18 and 25. Candidates must have been born between October 25, 1997, and October 25, 2004, inclusive.

Other Essential Qualifications
The following prerequisites must be met by applicants in order to be considered for the position of assistant sub inspector (stenographer) (Stenographer).
10 minutes of dictation with an average word rate of 80.
Transcription Time on a computer: 50 minutes for Hindi and 65 minutes for English.
Police chief (ministerial): In order to apply for Assistant Sub Inspector, candidates must meet the requirements listed below (Stenographer).
English typing at least 35 words per minute on a computer OR Hindi typing at least 30 words per minute.
Note: With an average of five key depressions for each word on a computer, 35 words per minute in English and 30 words per minute in Hindi translate to 10500 KDPH in English and 9000 KDPH in Hindi, respectively.
Application Fee
Candidates must pay the appropriate application fee for their category in order to finish the application procedure. Details on CISF application fees per category are provided in the table below.

Payment Method: Candidates can use an online payment gateway to pay their application fees. However, candidates who desire to pay in cash using an SBI Challan may do so at SBI branches during regular business hours till October 27, 2022, as long as the Challan was created by the candidate before October 25, 2022. (17:00 hours).
How to Apply CISF Recruitment?
Starting on September 26, 2022, applicants who fill the requirements and want to work for the CISF can submit their online applications. Only online applications will be accepted, and candidates must submit their applications on the CISF's official web portal by the application deadline. - Now, an official web portal will load in the new tab of your browser.
- In that portal, you will get the option to register yourself.
- After registration, you have to provide all your asked details.
- After that you have to upload your documents.
- Now, you have to pay the application fee.
- After successful payment, your application will be submitted.
- Also, you will receive an acknowledgment copy of your submission.
- Keep that acknowledgment copy for future use.
