An official recruitment announcement for the positions of Constables (GD) in the CAPFs, NCB, SSF, and Rifleman (GD) in the Assam Rifles has been made by the Staff Section Commission of India. Educational Qualification: The candidates must have passed Matriculation or 10th Class Examination from a recognized Board/ University.
Candidates must be between the ages of 18 and 23 as of January 1, 2023. Candidate must have been born between January 2, 2000, and January 1, 2005. (both dates inclusive). However, the candidate's birthdate should not have been earlier than January 1, 1997, even with the maximum age limit being relaxed by three (03) years.

Note: Due to unprecedented ‘Covid Pandemic’, it has been decided by the Government to grant three (03) years age relaxation beyond respective prescribed upper age limit for all categories of the candidates as one-time measure for this recruitment.

Age Relaxation: The maximum age relaxation would be 5 years for applicants who are SC or ST and 3 years for OBC/MOBC candidates. Check the official announcement for more information.

Pay Range: For the NCB position of Sepoy, the pay range is Pay Level 1 (18,00 to 56,900) and for all other positions, it is Pay Level 3 (21,700 to 69,100).
